Amitabh Bachchan back in action after a month-long injury break in Bollywood

Actor sustained an injury last month, shares pictures of resuming work

Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has returned to the film set after recovering from an injury sustained during the shooting of his upcoming film, ‘Project K’. The ‘Piku’ actor took to his blog to share his excitement and enthusiasm at being back on set, with a series of pictures depicting various aspects of the production.

The first picture shows Bachchan entering the set with the caption, “off to work .. a few limps and slings apart .. but striding on ..”. Another image shows the actor having his makeup done, with the caption “The face .. the touch ups .. and the shot …”. In a third photo, he is seen interacting with the director, with the caption “Corrections and discussions on the writing .. amicable and on ..”.

Bachchan’s photo essay ends with the words, “And the routine in its beginnings … on the road to the route … the environ so ignored for the time to reappear and the feel on the faces of reassurance …”, suggesting that he is enjoying being back on set and the familiar routine of filmmaking.

Last month, Bachchan announced that he had broken his rib cartilage while filming ‘Project K’ in Hyderabad. The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, and stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas in pivotal roles.

Apart from ‘Project K’, Bachchan is also set to appear in Ribhu Dasgupta’s next courtroom drama film ‘Section 84’. The actor is known for his prolific output and his ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. His return to the set after his injury is a testament to his resilience and dedication to his craft.
