Researchers claim that artificial intelligence will soon overtake humans

by THE GULF TALK

Mashable reports that ChatGPT, an AI chatbot developed by OpenAI, has greatly enhanced the capabilities and intelligence of artificial intelligence to the extent that it may soon exceed human intelligence. ChatGPT can process vast amounts of data and employ the GPT-4 language processing paradigm to generate content.

AI researchers claim that ChatGPT has the ability to answer almost any query posed to it, but this is only the initial stage of its capabilities. However, an AI specialist has cautioned that allowing AI to grow unchecked in intelligence would result in dire consequences, stating that “everyone would perish”.

At first glance, an AI chatbot appears to be a highly useful tool that can enhance human efficiency and productivity. It can serve as a direct internet-based source of information, allowing users to save time by avoiding lengthy scrolling sessions. In addition, the AI chatbot can process massive amounts of text data to offer users accurate information on a specific topic. In a recent incident, ChatGPT accurately diagnosed a dog’s illness, leading to its recovery and surprising the veterinarians involved in the case.

However, there are also negative aspects to this technology. Many of these risks are present even as AI is still in its early stages of development. As a result, Elon Musk and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak recently endorsed a petition demanding that all AI activities be halted until regulatory bodies are established.
