Streaming Problems: Netflix Users Encounter Difficulties while Watching Movies and TV Shows

by THE GULF TALK

On Sunday evening, Netflix users experienced problems with the streaming service, as indicated by more than 11,000 reports on Downdetector, an online platform for reporting technical issues. Users reported difficulty streaming movies and TV series.
Although the primary impact was observed in the US, Netflix users in other countries such as the UK and India also reported service disruptions.

The outage coincided with a scheduled live event featuring the reunion of the beloved series ‘Love is Blind’, causing further inconvenience for Netflix subscribers.

On Twitter, Netflix recognized the issue and committed to resolving it, saying:

“We apologize deeply to all those who stayed up late, woke up early, or sacrificed their Sunday afternoon for the Love is Blind Live Reunion that did not go as planned. Our team is currently filming the event, and we will make it available on Netflix at the earliest possible time.”

Following a live event with Chris Rock in March of this year, Netflix attempted another live event, but technical issues arose. As a result, the streaming platform is expected to lose viewers to HBO’s ‘Succession’.

Numerous dissatisfied users expressed their frustration on Twitter.
