During the upcoming summer holiday season, passengers traveling between the UAE and India will enjoy increased flight options. Air India Express will add 24 extra weekly flights connecting India with major UAE destinations such as Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Dubai. This expansion will particularly benefit Indian expatriates and tourists.

The Indian carrier will boost its Dubai route with an additional four flights per week, bringing the total to 84 weekly flights. In Abu Dhabi, the route will see a rise to 43 flights per week, with the addition of 14 flights. Furthermore, the Tata Group-owned carrier will augment flight frequency on the Ras Al Khaimah route by six more flights each week, totaling eight flights.

During June to August, when numerous schools in the UAE close for summer holidays, expatriate families often travel abroad to reunite with loved ones. Likewise, a considerable influx of Indian tourists visits the UAE during this period. Travel agents recommend that UAE residents and frequent flyers book their tickets at least three months in advance to secure the most favorable rates.

“The airline plans to enhance its flight frequencies to international destinations including Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Jeddah, and Sharjah. Additionally, it will bolster its presence by increasing both domestic and international frequencies from Ayodhya, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kannur, Kolkata, Kochi, Mangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, and Varanasi, with the aim of offering guests a more extensive and well-connected travel experience,” the carrier stated to Khaleej Times.
