Ansu Fati’s Early Goal Sets the Tone as Barcelona Secures Victory against Mallorca

Barcelona’s Ansu Fati wasted no time in finding the back of the net, scoring just 49 seconds into the game after a precise assist from Gavi. Mallorca’s Amath Ndiaye received a red card 13 minutes later for a dangerous challenge on Barcelona’s young talent, Alejandro Balde.

Fati continued his impressive performance by adding another goal, this time assisted by Robert Lewandowski’s flick. Gavi completed the scoring, securing a comfortable win for Barcelona. After the final whistle, Barcelona was presented with the La Liga trophy, celebrating their championship title.

As the Nou Camp undergoes redevelopment, Barcelona will temporarily relocate to the Olympic Stadium in Montjuic for the upcoming season. The team is set to return home in the 2024-25 season, with the stadium operating at 50% capacity until the redevelopment is completed in the 2025-26 season.

In a poignant moment, departing players Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba received standing ovations from the home fans when they were substituted in the second half. Despite Lewandowski’s near miss with a free-kick hitting the woodwork, Barcelona emerged victorious.

Xavi’s team will wrap up their campaign with a match against Celta Vigo next Sunday.
