Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental has revealed its lineup for National Day 2023, featuring a grand finale with a fireworks display on December 2.

The luxurious five-star hotel along Abu Dhabi Corniche will present a dazzling pyrotechnics and light show on the beachfront starting at 9 pm, providing a captivating spectacle for both guests and the public.

As part of the festivities, the National Day Air Show can be enjoyed from the palace gardens, where a family picnic-style setup will be available from 3 pm to 6 pm.

The extensive program, commencing on November 27, includes daily performances of the traditional Emirati Al Ayala dance, themed afternoon tea, and exclusive menus at the hotel’s eight restaurants and cafes.

Lebanese Terrace, helmed by chef Gilbert Sakr, will offer a curated menu priced at Dh495 per person from November 27 to December 3. Additionally, Episodes cafe, under the direction of chef Leen Quttineh, will feature an Emirati-themed afternoon tea from 2 pm to 6 pm, priced at Dh285 per person (up from Dh245).

On National Day itself, Talea by Antonio Guida, a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant, will serve a five-course menu at Dh850, while Martabaan, an Indian venue, offers a five-course menu priced at Dh450 for the day.

For those seeking international cuisine, Vendome presents lunch or dinner options on December 2 (starting from Dh395), and beachside Sand & Koal provides a unique five-course menu using open-fire cooking techniques at Dh850.

In addition to the Al Ayala dancers, visitors can explore Emirati arts and crafts, henna artistry, and falcon displays at an exhibition hosted by the Fatima Bint Mohamed Bin Zayed Initiative in the hotel’s Grand Dome from 11 am to 9 pm on National Day.

For a memorable staycation, the UAE Union Getaway package offers an overnight stay, breakfast, brunch or dinner at Vendome for two, themed coffee at Episodes, and a guided palace tour for Dh3,300.
