A dust alert has been issued by the National Centre of Meteorology, effective from 10:30 am until 4:00 pm on Wednesday.
According to the NCM, fresh winds may cause blowing dust and sand, potentially reducing horizontal visibility to less than 2000 meters at times in some internal areas during this period.
The NCM has also issued a yellow alert for the Nahil area, urging the public to exercise caution during outdoor activities.
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Police have urged drivers to exercise caution due to low visibility caused by high winds and dust. They have also advised people to refrain from shooting videos or using their phones while driving for their own safety.
