Etihad Airways has introduced its newly unveiled lounges in Terminal A at Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Occupying three floors on the north side of the terminal, the first and business-class lounges feature private Armani Casa suites with day beds, a games room, and a smoking lounge.

The recently opened terminal, soon to be renamed Zayed International Airport in February, will handle all flights starting this Tuesday.

Antonoaldo Neves, Etihad’s CEO, emphasized the meticulous planning that went into designing the lounges, aiming to provide a delightful experience for guests.

The lounges offer a range of experiences, from relaxation to diverse dining options and signature drinks at the Constellation Bar. A rooftop lounge on the top floor boasts a 25-meter bespoke glass lighting sculpture showcasing the Abu Dhabi skyline.

The first-class lounge offers an a la carte menu in the dining room and a selection of pastries, desserts, and beverages in the parlour. Passengers in Etihad’s A380 three-room The Residence cabin enjoy complimentary access to private suites, available for booking by other first-class passengers as well.

The business-class lounge features Liwan Global Dining, an “informal all-day” restaurant with live cooking stations, Emirati and Middle Eastern cuisine, and international options. Amenities include relaxation rooms with day beds, Armani Casa furnishings, 18 shower suites, and a games room with table football, air hockey, and digital gaming.

For families, the lounge includes a dedicated room with games, toys, books, and a spa and salon for those seeking pampering before their flight.

Access to the Etihad lounges is open to first and business-class travelers, Etihad Guest members with eligible tier status, and can also be purchased by economy travelers.
