The UAE has set a guiding principle for COP28: Ensuring that every nation and stakeholder is committed to maintaining the possibility of a 1.5ºC temperature increase. Today marks the initiation of this mission, as the global community gathers at Expo City Dubai.
Approximately 180 heads of states, 97,000 delegates, experts, observers, climate activists, and over 400,000 UAE residents and environmental advocates are actively participating in the eagerly awaited UN climate summit. This annual COP conference is scheduled from today until December 12.
