UAE and Iran Sign Air Transport Services Agreement to Boost Trade and Tourism

UAE and Iran Strengthen Air Transport Services with New Agreement
The UAE and Iran have signed an air transport services agreement aimed at enhancing trade and tourism opportunities between the two nations.
The agreement, which allows national carriers to expand their services, was signed by the Director-General of the General Authority of Civil Aviation on behalf of the UAE.
The pact aligns with the UAE’s open skies policy and is expected to create new trade opportunities, support national carriers’ operations, and strengthen economic partnerships.
The agreement was reached during a meeting between UAE’s President, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and Iran’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir Abdollahian.
