Armenia has taken steps to enhance travel accessibility for tourists from the UAE by simplifying its visa regulations. UAE passport holders can now enjoy visa-free travel for up to 180 days within a year. The changes also extend to individuals with UAE residency visas, making it easier for them to visit Armenia. This initiative aims to foster cultural exchange, tourism, and stronger connections between the two nations.

Sisian Boghossian MBA, the head of the Tourism Committee of Armenia, Ministry of Economy, expressed, “Citizens from more than 50 countries, including Egypt, India, Iraq, Morocco, the Philippines, and Saudi Arabia, may obtain a visa at the Armenian border (on-arrival or by e-visa) if they hold a valid resident card issued by GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) member states, which includes the UAE.”
